Birkwood Farm Fisheries is run by Dick and Sandra Lindley. Set on the Rural Urban Fringe of Altofts near Normanton, Birkwood Fisheries is only 3 miles from Wakefield and 6 miles from the centre of Leeds.
The complex currently has 5 lakes: Main Lake, Frog Hall, Molly's Lake, Oscarís Lakes and Emilyís Lakes. Total number of fishing stations is now in excess of 100.
Birkwood Fisheries has been operating since 1998 and has already built up an enviable reputation. Demand has meant that over the last 3 years a programme of expansion has taken place and now there are 4 very different lakes offering very different styleís of fishing.
When ever you visit Birkwood you are assured of a warm welcome and an enjoyable fishing experience Fishing platforms are well spaced and at most times of the year cars can be parked behind pegs.
Alternatively there is plenty of hard car parking within a few yards of each lake.
